Junge Gerichte oder das jüngste Gericht? Food avantgarde at its best!
Das Restaurant " 't Jong Gerecht" liegt in der Langestraat in Brügge, genau gegenüber vom Gericht. Ob der Name also eher das jüngste Gericht heraufbeschwört, oder gewählt wurde, weil die Günderin zum Zeitpunkt der Gründung vor zwei Jahren gerade mal 19 Lenze zählte, bleibt unklar.
Glasklar dagegen ist, dass es auf dieser Erde Dinge gibt, die man kaum in Worte packen kann...wie das Gourmet-Erlebnis bei 't Jong Gerecht.
Was dort in der Küche gezaubert und phantasievoll komponiert wird, und wie es uns präsentiert wurde, war einfach perfekt. Für uns ist klar: am Tag des jüngsten Gerichts buchen wir noch schnell einen Tisch....bei  't Jong Gerecht!

Admittedly, some plays on words do loose their originality when being translated into another language. So, beloved non- german, non- dutch speakers, please allow me a short explanation: in these languages the same expression  't Jong Gerecht - which happens to be the name of the restaurant - means both: young food and doomsday.  The restaurant is situated opposite the courthouse, and it was founded two years ago by a 19 year old high school graduate. So, its up to you to choose your favourite translation.

Hardly arguable is, that there are things in live that cannot be put in words. So is the unique experience we' ve had in this restaurant. The choice of food, the combination of ingredients as well as its presentation left us simply stunning. We know, where to book a table when doomsday is close ;-). A last supper here is what we'd be longing for...
